Interview with Fellow Special Education Teachers

The following podcast is an interview with 2 of my fellow education teachers. I wanted to get a little background on them and who their most difficult student to work with was.

Reflection on the process: So this week I was really struggling on coming up with something to do a podcast about. I don;t really have any hobbies, and with it being my first year teaching, there wasn't really much to share. I finally decided to interview my fellow special education teachers on the toughest student they have worked with. After completing last weeks podcast, there were a few things that I wanted to change up in this weeks one. Last week it was all one voice segment, so trying to get two different interviews at two different times on the same track was a bit of a challenge for me, but once I figured it out, it wasn't as difficult as I thought it was going to be. Last week I also was able to fade in and out the music at the beginning and end of my podcast. In the interview this week, I did the same thing. I like having the voices and music overlap rather than have an abrupt end to the music and start of conversation. I added in sound effects last week, but did not feel that they would have been appropriate in my interviews this week. The process of making podcasts is a long and difficult one, especially if you do not know what you are going to talk about! I'm just glad that I was able to come up with a topic and my coworkers were willing to participate with me!
